APPELLO A TUTTE LE PERSONE SFRUTTATE E ARRABBIATE: IL 18 AGOSTO TUTTI E TUTTE A SAN FERDINANDO CONTRO LO SGOMBERO DELLA TENDOPOLI!
Siamo gli abitanti e le abitanti della tendopoli di San Ferdinando (Reggio Calabria) e vogliamo lanciare un appello a tutta Italia. Questo è un grido di rabbia e dolore contro l’ennessima violenza dello Stato e delle istituzioni nei nostri confronti!
Sono tanti anni che alziamo la testa per chiedere quello che ci spetta, come ognuno di voi fa ogni giorno. Ma l’unica risposta che abbiamo avuto fino ad oggi è stata violenza, controlli e l’isolamento dentro baracche e tende.
Infatti qui a San Ferdinando lo Stato per la terza volta ha costruito una nuova tendopoli del costo (iniziale) di 625.000 euro!!!! E prevede di spenderne altri 400.000 euro ogni anno per la gestione!!!! Ma questi soldi potevano essere usati in modo diverso, per tutti quelli che vivono in questo territorio, italiani e immigrati! Invece lo Stato ha preferito destinarli tutti ad un unico scopo: rinchiudere 550 persone di una prigione!
Non vogliamo più vivere nelle tende, controllati dalle telecamere, con un sistema identificativo per entrare e per uscire e con orari di chiusura e apertura! Inoltre non possiamo neanche cucinare, né decidere quando, come e cosa mangiare, perché all’interno del campo ci sarà una mensa a pagamento, 1,50 euro per ogni pasto!
Siamo stanchi e arrabbiati perchè non veniamo ascoltati e riceviamo solo violenza, razzismo e silenzio! Qui lo Stato il 9 giugno 2016 ha già ammazzato un nostro fratello, Sekine Traore, e adesso se non ce ne andiamo che faranno? Ci ammazzeranno perchè ci rifiutiamo di andare a vivere nell’ennesima prigione?
Il 18 agosto inizierà lo sgombero della tendopoli dove viviamo, che sappiamo bene essere un posto orribile, e la conseguente deportazione nel nuovo campo. Ma finchè non ci saranno delle soluzioni reali e le nostre richieste non verranno ascoltate noi da qui non ce ne andiamo!
Con questo appello vi chiediamo di raggiungerci qui a San Ferdinando, per sostenerci e resistere insieme!

A TOUTES LES PERSONNES EXPLOITÉS ET ENRAGÉS: LE 18 AOÛT TOUS ET TOUTES A SAN FERDINANDO CONTRE L’EXPULSION DU CAMP!
Nous sommes les habitants du camp de San Ferdinando (Reggio Calabria) et nous voulons faire un appel à tous les italiens. Ça est un cri de rage et de douleur contre un autre violence de l’État et des institutions contre nous!
Ça fais plusieurs années que nous levons la tête pour demander ce qu’il est nous est dû, comme chacun de vous fait chaque jour. Mais la seule réponse que nous avons eu à ce jour a été la violence, le contrôle et l’isolement dans des baraques et des tentes.
En fait ici à San Ferdinando l’état pour la troisième fois a construit une nouvelle ville de tentes du coût (initial) de 625.000 € !!!! Les autorités prévoient de dépenser plus de 400.000 euros par an pour la gestion !!!! Mais cet argent pourrait être utilisé d’une manière différente, pour tous ceux qui vivent dans cette région, les immigrants et les italiens! Au contraire, l’Etat a préféré les destiner tous pour un seul objectif: enfermer 550 personnes dans une prison!
Nous ne voulons pas vivre dans des camps, contrôlés par des caméras, avec un système d’identification à l’entrée et avec des horaires pour la rentrée et la sortie. De plus, nous ne pourrons même pas cuisiner ou décider quand, comment et quoi manger, parce que à l’intérieur du camp on sera forcés de payer 1,50 € pour chaque repas!
On est fatigués et enragés parce-que on ne nous écoute pas et on ne reçoit que de la violence, du racisme et du silence ! Ici l’état, le 9 juin 2016 a tué notre frère, Sekine Traoré, et maintenant si on ne bouge pas qu’est-ce qu’ils vont faire ? Est-ce que ils vont nous tuer parce-que nous refusons d’aller vivre dans une nouvelle prison ?
Le prochain 18 août commencera l’évacuation du camp où on habite, qu’on sait très bien est une place horrible, et on va nous déporter dans le nouveau camp. Mais si on ne trouve pas des solutions réelles et nos demandes ne seront pas écoutées on ne bougera pas d’ici!

CALL TO ALL THE EXPLOITED AND ANGRY PEOPLE: ON 18TH AUGUST JOIN US IN SAN FERDINANDO AGAINST THE EVICTION OF THE TENT CAMP
We are the people living in San Ferdinando’s tent camp (Reggio Calabria) and we want to call on all the people in Italy. This is a scream of anger and pain after facing yet more violence from the State and Institutions against us.
We have been raising our heads and voices for many years, to ask what is due to us, as each one of you does every day. The only answers we ever got are violence, police checks and segregation in shacks and tents.
Indeed, here in San Ferdinando for the third time the State has built a new tent camp for a (starting) cost of 625.000 euros!!! And the budgeted cost foreseen for yearly management is 400.000!!! This money could have been used in a different way, for all the people living in this region, Italians and immigrants! What the State did instead was to use it all for a single purpose: lock 550 people up in a prison!
We do not want to live inside tents anymore, surveilled by cameras, with a system of identification and set times to get in and out! What’s more, we cannot even cook, nor decide when, what or how to eat, for in the camp we will be forced to eat meals with a set price of 1.50 euros each!
We are fed up and angry because they don’t listen to us and we only receive violence, racism and silence! In this very place, on the 9th of June 2016, the State killed our brother, Sekine Traoré. Now what will they do to us? Will they kill us all because we refuse to live in yet another prison?
The eviction of the tent camp where we currently live will start on the 18th of August, with deportations to the new camp. We know very well that even the camp where we currently are is a horrible place, but this new camp is not a real solution and we will not move until we are given one. Our demands must be heard.
